Echo Enduring Media is the online presence of me, Matt Ward. I like to call myself a digital artist - by which I simply mean that I am an artist who works primarly through digital means. As for my art itself, that falls into three basic categories: design, illustration and writing.

I Do Design

Yeah I'm a designer. In my day job, I work as the Creative Director for Highland Marketing, an awesome direct marketing company located out of Waterloo, Ontario. I design and maintian the company website, as well pretty much every other piece of printed material both internally and externally (though they do sneak some stuff by me on occasion). If you're looking to do any direct mail or marketing in Canada, drop me a line and I'll get you hooked up with the most knowledgable professionals in the business.

I Do Illustration

I've been drawing ever since I can remember. Like most pubescent boys with a penchent for the pencil, I even had dreams of drawing my own comics (something that I still toy with). Yet, I've always found that my pencil work smudges and painting... well that's just a mess.

My Tablet has changed all that. It's clean and smudgeless and tends to lend itself towards my artistic style. As a result, I am doing more illustration these days and building my portfilio. I hope you enjoy.

I Do Writing

Narrative is one of my greatest passions in life. I look for the story in absolutely everything, and have been trying my hand at writing for years now. I am currently working on a number of different creative writing projects.

I have also written an article or two here or there, and am available for comissioned articles about design, writing or general creativity, or for quality reviews of books or other products.
